    Dr Jesús López-Peláez Casellas (b. 1967) is Associate Professor of English at the Universidad de Jaén (Spain), where he currently teaches English and Comparative Literature, Drama and Popular Culture, at undergraduate and graduate levels. Prof. López-Peláez has conducted research as a Fellow Resident at the Folger Shakespeare Library in Washington DC (2010 and 2016), and as a visiting scholar at Arizona State, Michigan State and Penn State Universities (1993, 1997, 2005), and has been Research Project Manager of the R+D Project ‘Muslims, Spaniards and Jews in Early Modern English Texts: The Construction of the Other' (http://www.ujaen.es/investiga/strangers) (2010-2013). He is the author of, among others, Honourable Murderers (Frankfurt: Peter Lang, 2009), and Strangers in Early Modern English Texts (editor) (Frankfurt: Peter Lang, 2011), and of journal articles and book chapters appearing in Studies in Philology, Studia Neophilologica, Journal of World History, Heidelberg Winter, ATLANTIS, SEDERI Yearbook, Miscelánea and Rodopi, among others. Prof López-Peláez is the current Chair of the English Department at the Universidad de Jaén, Research Group Manager (HUM 271), and a Corresponding Member of the North American Academy of the Spanish Language (ANLE).
